Can you offer coverage in our state?
We are able to offer coverage in all states where cannabis and hemp are legal.
How do I get a quote?
To get a quote all you would need to do is fill out our application. The application can be found on our website by clicking “Get a Quote.” Next, click “Download Application” and save it to your computer. We can also send you the application via email.
What markets do you use?
Cannasure has access to a broad range of Casualty and Property markets for our Brokerage operations. Additionally, we have dedicated carrier support for our Package Program in our MGA operations. All of our carriers support the cannabis industry in states where cannabis and help are legal.
What’s the status of my submitted quote?
Once an application is received by our New Business Department (email@example.com), you will receive an email advising you that is has been received and which Account Manager has been assigned to review your application. This email will include the Account Managers name, email and direct phone line so that you can always reach out to them whenever you feel the need. If for some reason you did not receive this email within a reasonable time frame, please let us know by calling 800-420-5757 and we will assist you. We believe that communication and superior customer service is the key to building and maintaining a solid relationship for years to come.
What types of insurance do you write?
Cannasure writes property and casualty insurance, which is really the same general types of insurance that any other business would obtain, but we are specifically focused on cannabis businesses. The main coverages offered are General Liability, Property, and Products Liability.
Do you write Hemp/CBD?
Yes, Cannasure has carriers that can consider these types of businesses and we would need our Cannasure application completed.
Can I make a payment online?
Yes, Cannasure can accept payments on-line through EPAY. In order to make your payment online, log in to our EPAY Policy Portal by clicking the quick link below:

Is there a fee to make a payment online?
When using EPAY, they do charge nominal fees which are as follows:
- If you make your payment by ACH/eCheck there is a $3.00 fee per transaction.
- If you make your payment by credit card there is a 3.25% fee per transaction.
If you have multiple invoices due, we recommend that you pay them all in one transaction so you only have to pay the fee one time. Note: Cannasure does not take any portion of these fees.
What types of markets do you submit to?
Other than our Programs unit, our markets are Excess & Surplus Lines carriers.
What are your Carriers’ A.M. Best Ratings?
Typically, most of our Carrier partners have an A.M. Best rating of “A- ” or greater.
Are your coverages Admitted or Non-Admitted?
Typically, most of our carrier quotes are Non-Admitted, however, Admitted coverage is available in certain lines & States.
Can you give me an estimated premium?
Because each risk is so unique, we are unable to provide quote indications without proper account information. For example, Property premium is rated off of numerous factors, including total insurable value, safeguards in place such as central station burglar alarm, interior/exterior cameras, etc., while General Liability and Product Liability coverages are rated off of estimated total sales. A completed Cannasure application will be needed in order to submit to our available markets and determine an accurate premium.
