On January 16, 2019, medical marijuana dispensaries started opening in Ohio with more slated to open in the near future. The program was adopted over two years ago and this marks the first time patients can legally obtain cannabis in the state.

On February 27, 2019, the New Hampshire House of Representatives passed a bill to end marijuana prohibition and regulate cannabis for adults 21 and older in New Hampshire. The bill will now be sent to the House Ways and Means Committee for further consideration.

Medical Marijuana Goes into effect in Arkansas

Medical Marijuana cards officially went into effect on February 15, 2019 in Arkansas despite marijuana not being legally available in the state. Many dispensaries have been awarded licenses but must pass final inspections in order to open. Cultivators hope to have marijuana legally available in April of 2019.
