Jim McErlean has over 20 years of distinguished sales, marketing, and business development management experience in the insurance industry.

At Cannasure, Jim has direct oversight of sales, distribution management as well as accessing new and emerging trends within the cannabis & hemp arena that warrant product and/or service development within the firm. In addition, Jim is responsible for guiding the company’s development of future strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining Cannasure, Jim was Business Development Manager for NSM Insurance with oversight of the Western States which largely comprised of business from AZ, CA, CO and NV. Jim’s career experience spans retail brokering, program & product development as well as development and implementation of distribution and channel management strategies to drive organizational growth.

Jim is a talented and respected business executive. His business acumen and collaborative nature has consistently yielded sustainable growth and profits.

Jim received his BA in Accounting and Finance and MBA in Business Management & Finance as a graduate of The University of Denver.
