The Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to key client groups by providing strategic and consultative guidance on identified collaborative initiatives, assessment of potential risk profiles Preparing proposals for new business and renewals. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in servicing key accounts while prioritizing and managing workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate delivery of key objectives.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Building and maintaining constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations
- Leveraging commercial P&C insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities
- Fostering an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers
- Participating in the retention of renewal business. Interacting with external customers to prepare specifications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of insurance products
- Supporting the implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier
- Executing coverage analysis as needed as well as providing the client with accurate quotation for any additional coverage’s
Experiences/Qualifications:
- 5 – 7 years’ experience of Commercial Lines client management experience
- Valid P&C license
- College degree preferred
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems
- Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines coverage, rate analysis/procedures
- Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative information
- Understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needs

Client Services Advisor
Job Summary
Client Service Advisors are the primary managers of the client relationship and their portfolio. The position has responsibility for managing new agent/client relationships, formulating and implementing advice. Client Advisors work with and train other staff in client service delivery.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Independently manages accounts on a day-to-day basis which includes coordinating all services, answering all questions, and resolving problems.
- Processes client correspondence including: new submission applications, proposals, binders, invoices, policies, and endorsements. Reviews contracts and special certificate of insurance requests for compliance and response to insured.
- Maintains timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, agency and insurance company personnel.
- Works to provide quality customer service, while increasing the company’s revenues by offering available products and services.
- Negotiates and secures the most appropriate carrier coverage based upon client needs for new business and cost of those coverages. Maintains ongoing relationships with carrier underwriters.
- Makes decisions regarding the resolution of all moderate and complex customer service problems. Researches and resolves coverage issues and billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Independently enters and maintains accounts/policies in agency management systems while maintaining current suspense’s/tasks.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Experiences/Qualifications:
- Ohio Property & Casualty License – required
- Microsoft Word & Excel Intermediate experience preferred
- Experience with agency management systems

Client Support Specialist
Job Summary
Client Support Specialist works as a liaison with our Client Services Advisor, to provide exceptional service to current and new clients. Performs routine and moderately complex clerical, administrative and support functions within our MGA/Brokerage insurance office.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Processes and completes insurance proposals, binders, invoices, policies, endorsements within our company management system.
- Processes client correspondence including: new submission applications, proposals, binders, invoices, policies, and endorsements. Reviews contracts and special certificate of insurance requests for compliance and response to insured.
- Independently supports the Client Service Advisor team by completing additional tasks as needed, including but not limited to inspection report processing, subjectivity or additional information follow ups, and policy audit reviews.
- Organize and work with detailed records, maintaining updated files for each client.

Underwriting Assistant
Job Description
The Underwriting Assistant works with the Program Division Underwriting staff and is primarily responsible for renewal and endorsement file prep, ordering and processing premium audits, researching the competition and guided product management projects. Other duties include maintaining Program management information logs and guideline manuals.

Responsibilities:
- Performs file reviews on upcoming renewals to identify any changes in the risk profile that may need underwriting attention
- Reviews endorsement requests and develops necessary information needed to add the exposures
- Assists with developing new business underwriting files
- Completes premium audit worksheets on files identified by the underwriter and checks completed audits for accuracy and before tasking for further processing
- Researches specific competitors for coverage offerings and rates
- Studies industry trends and reports on possible insurance product implications and opportunities
- Provides organizational support on MSO and large property risks
- Takes on product management projects as directed and guided by the Director
- Assists the Senior Underwriter with state/territory issues and regulations
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Sound analytical skills and strong problem-solving aptitude
- An exceptional communicator
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- ImageRight and AIM experience
- Detail oriented with a sense of urgency
- Strong personal organization and time management skill sets
